The Student Parenting Program works to achieve outcomes relating to student academic success, personal health, and the health and well being of the participant's child/ren. The following Focus Areas are required grant measurements or are a priority for the Program to follow. Case Managers work with students daily on goal setting, time management, grades, safety, prevention, health, relationship building, career preparation, and positive parenting skills to help achieve these outcomes.

FOCUS AREA 1
Graduation rate for seniors must be at least 75 percent of all participants eligible to graduate.

FOCUS AREA 2
High school dropout rate may not exceed 25 percent of participants.

FOCUS AREA 3
Grade point averages or earned credits must show academic achievement which maintains or reflects overall progress from year-to-year for all participants.

FOCUS AREA 4
School day attendance rate for all expectant and parenting participants in the program must be maintained or improved upon from year to year.

FOCUS AREA 5
Participants are provided with health education and services that result in healthy pregnancies and children.

FOCUS AREA 6
Less than 25 percent of program participants have a second or repeat pregnancy.
